Kiddo Update

We survived our 3 year doctor appointment! We cried! We were afraid of shots, but we did not have to get any shots! Yea!



Dylan at 3 years old:



38 1/2 inches tall - 75th percentile

(The Dr. expects him to be 6 feet tall!)

36.4 pounds - 75th+ percentile

Vision - 20/50 (Keep monitoring)

Possible Allergies (New medication to try)

Dandruff issue - (Switch shampoo to Selsun Blue)



Caitlin at 3 years old:

36 1/2 inches tall - 25th - 50th percentile

31.6 pounds - 50th percentile

Vision - 20/20

Funny story: Caity was asked to name a few animals on a paper during her appointment. The Dr. pointed to one of the animal pictures in a random order. Caity did not answer. Then, the Dr. asked her identify another animal. At that point Caity took over. She pulled the paper toward her, and she went ahead and named all of the animals in order from left to right. LOL! It already has to be her way!



Caitlin and Dylan told Dr. Herrera that they both love broccoli! LOL - That is not exactly true! They will eat a few bites, but I would hardly say they love it.



We are going to continue to monitor speech progress. We may look into an evaluation by the school district. Jo is going to give me some things to read over to see if I think we need to do it or not. The doctor said hold off until next year at first, and then she said to go ahead and do it now. We will see.



All in all, a good visit. The doctor says they are doing great!!
