You are not going to believe this!

One week ago today it was 90 degrees. In Texas they say if you don't like the weather, wait a minute. So after spending the weekend outside in shorts, we are spending tonight bundled up in our "winter gear".

The weather man said it was going to snow, but we did not believe him until we saw it ourselves. We put the kids down for bed at 7:00 as we do most nights, but we were so excited that we got them out of bed to play around 9:30.

Here are some pictures from the fun.

Caity stepping out into the cold.

Dylan was and I quote, "just so excited!"

Dylan trying to catch a snowflake.

Caity trying to be brave. Can you tell she is not really a fan of the cold?!

(Like mother, like daughter)

Daddy throwing a "snowball" at Dylan.

By the looks of it, Daddy did not take the time to make it into a ball!

These two pictures are for the West Virginia and Ohio family!

We call these "gloves" in Texas.

Since Dylan doesn't own gloves, we put two socks on each hand!

Daddy, that doesn't look like the snowmen that I have seen in books!

Daddy still throwing snowballs!

This is what we call a big snow storm in Texas! LOL!
This is our first (and hopefully last) snow of the year!
